Don't know but the food is wonderful
Their Sunday brunch menu was amazing! So much food for a great cost. We had a party of 8 people and the waiter was so attentive to us He was funny and entertaining. When we arrived they had the name of our party on the sign outside welcoming us. Each item on the brunch menu was delicious and everyone enjoyed their meals. We will be back!
It's a 10/10 in every category. Food, service, and atmosphere all wonderful for a Valentine's dinner two days late. Very reasonably priced. It's a must go!
Cozy restored apartment/converted restaurant serving delicious French-inspired faire. The escargot and fois gras were quite amazing to start and the fitlet mignon I ordered was superb paired with the garlic butter sauce and mushrooms. However, the duck breast in Bing cherry sauce my wife ordered had me regretting my choice. Either way, there were 4 or 5 menu items I wanted to try. Make sure you reserve a table, there are only a few! We will surely be going back.
I think I might have a new favorite restaurant in ABQ. Started dinner with cheese and 1/2 carafe of rose followed by fennel mussels and a steak with the house red wine. Everything was perfectly cooked and the cheese was amazing. The house wine was reasonably priced. The ambiance is cozy and cute and service was good. Great first impression!
Beautiful in the spring. The French doors are open to the patio and you can see the trees blooming. Really reminded me of France. Of course the food is made fresh and delicious. The wait staff is friendly. The wine is great. But the wait can be long for food but its worth it.
Online reviews give high marks to P’tit Louis. Based on that I was looking forward to giving it a try. I called the restaurant to make reservations and was prompted to leave a message for a return call. Later that afternoon I received a return call from an irritated and condescending male associate who criticized me for failing to request a reservation time in my message. Sorry for the faux pas. I’ll take my business elsewhere.
Excellent food and cozy atmosphere! Wonderful service!
After reading "The 100 Foot Journey", my wife was craving French food, so we decided to try out this cozy bistro. We arrived at their opening for our reservation and stayed for a little over two hours. Alex was perfectly attentive, never rushing. We started with the Mussels Marineires which had a fantastic broth, but a couple of them were a little gritty. We ordered both entrée specials for the evening: Beef Bourguinon for her and for myself, Gulf Coast caught Cobio on a bed of rice, asparagus, and drizzled with a lemon butter sauce. Both dishes were fantastic, appropriately sized portions. I sopped up all of the lemon butter sauce with my baguette, it was so good. For dessert she got Cherry Clafoutis and I got the Crème Brulée. I had dessert envy as hers was devine, while mine was too eggy, and lacked accompanying fresh fruit. All in all, I would highly recommend for an unrushed, intimate evening with your significant other.
I have eaten here many times. It has mostly been excellent. Service is very good allow over an hour for dinner. The oysters are very good and the prices are reasonable.
Delicious and very fun experience! Great service and very cool atmosphere in a small, intimate restaurant.
Let it stay a hidden from anyone but those that like really great food and service. I want to go back often but do not want to be crowded out by those that could be happy with pub food.
My daughters took me for a birthday brunch. We should have gone to Zinc. Served warm bread. Yes it was warm...but it was a couple of bagel quarters and quarters of a sweet roll. No, house bagette. The tempura oyster crepe had a few very small fried bits of oyster flavoring. The bacon was good, though. The mussels were not cleaned well. They were very gritty. Dessert was good, but Zinc would have been better. Too much time between courses. We spent 2 1/2 hours there.
Lovely Chef. Intimate and delicious restaurant. Excellent for special occasions. This is the place to go if you enjoy a chef who takes great pride in his work. The specials are always....well, special. We feel so lucky to have this place in the neighborhood. You could easily enjoy a meal here, on your own as well. Very welcoming and comfortable.
Very Paris in the 20s atmosphere. Good food.
Everything about this place is fantastic! The service Alex provided was exceptional. Perfect for an intimate gathering or date night.
I love the atmosphere here. It is lovely, enchanting and feels like you are really in Paris. My server Aaron was attentive, charming and all around great! I love the filet de saumon, salad nicoise, and the chocolate mousse! Definitely give this place a try.
Fabulous French onion soup and crab cake
Delicious, quaint, neighborhood restaurant with friendly service. The duck confit and creme brulee to die for...!
First time there wonderful. Make sure you make reservation. You won't be sorry.
Small and friendly.
Loved our first meal at P'tit Louis. We sorely missed good French cuisine since moving to ABQ, and we got that and more. Expertly prepared food, great service (thanks Alex!), and an intimate small dining area. The Thurs/Fri fresh oysters from New England are what initially brought us in, and they didn't disappoint. Highly recommend!
This was a really nice hole in the wall. The decor was pleasant and the staff were great. The service wasn't the BEST, but it was decent enough. The cheeses and wine we selected were fantastic, and the foie gras was delicious as prepared. We even spoke to the chef who was a little quiet. Worth going again.
Wonderful atmosphere, amazing staff (perfectly attentive), fantastic food, and superb overall! 10/10 highly recommend
FANTASTIC! This cozy restaurant offers great ambiance, TERRIFIC FOOD, and wonderful Service. Our waiter Alex, was knowledgeable and offered great menu recommendations. FIVE STAR! The Blue Cheese Mussels were the table favorite.
They need to improve a lot in their service. Waiter was rude.
Quiet french resturant, very relaxing atmosphere. Food is fantastic with mostly wine, but they have 1 beer. Highly suggest to give this resturant a try!
I think this is one of the finest restaurants in Albuquerque. The food was amazing, the service was tops. It's a smaller more intimate place. A wonderful change from the same old chains. Well worth a visit.
We just left brunch here. It is my new favorite spot! The atmosphere is casual and beautiful. We received the best customer service I think I have ever had. My daughter who is10 loved it and she is hard to crack. Plus, the food was delicious.
This is a very small place but very cozy. Service is friendly and the owner is accessible. Food is great and there is an excellent weekend brunch for reasonable price.
Great food and very friendly/attentive yet non-intrusive service. A keeper.
Atmosphere is wonderfull. Friday they have oysters yum cant go wrong w champagne and the salad is supreme. My server gave me the best service I've had in a long time! This place is small and really cute! Definitely worth going back.
Excellent dinner tonight
Delicious food, excellent service
Oysters and mussels were great.
I have never reviewed a restaurant on Google before, but I had the most lovely lunch experience here and felt I had to show some love. John was exceptionally hospitable and the mussels and fried oyster crepes were delicious. Come eat here.
A hidden gem. With less than a dozen tables, this cozy place serves incredible French food. They do mussels 6 different ways (the traditional and Roquefort are both to die for) and also serve wine by the 1/4 carafe. Truly decadent.
This place did an EXCELLENT job at creating a relaxed and refreshing atmosphere. I have to say my favorite touch of the entire experience was the strawberry slices atop my glass of champagne! I’d never had it this way and wow what a difference. The server John was outstanding and I will definitely be returning. 5/5-Aram
Food was good, service personable. Only think I was on fence was selection of glasses of wine. 😂😂
So glad this place is still there! Change in ownership does not seem to have diminished the quality of the food. Service was good and the wine list very adequate. I look forward to returning again someday!
Delicious meal, had a wonderful salmon and shrimp dish with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Excellent service and awesome atmosphere, seemed like everyone was enjoying their meals.
I went here for a book signing. This place was perfect for it since this was a quaint, French bistro patterned after the 1920's and the book was set in the same place and era. The horsdouvres (?) we're delicious and authentically French. The owner was personable and just the right amount of attentive. I loved this place!
Alex was PHENOMENAL! Food was amazing... definite must try bistro in Albuquerque!!!!
We went here for our anniversary dinner and were quite pleased. We had the half and half muscles which were very good despite us expecting the two types of sauce to be served separately (they were mixed), and the duck, which was also very good. The prices were a bit higher than I expected (more expensive than Scalo used to be), but didn't feel like we paid too much in the end.
Pleasant atmosphere very small area for dining so you must make a reservation!
Just tried this lovely place for the first time and it was delicious! You definitely have to try the Creme Brulee.
Ordered online for carry out. Service was fast and hostess was very pleasant and efficient. They forgot one of the items in our order (fortunately the cheapest one.) The food was, in my opinion, just okay. Most of the ingredients didn’t seem very fresh. The salad greens in particular were wilted and the beef was definitely a little on the older side. Based on reviews it sounds like their brunch is very good, maybe they are better for dine-in.
Very romantic spot. Very small and intimate. Call and make a reservation, or you will not get a seat. This is French style dining, so expect it to take longer. That is a good thing, good food should take time to enjoy.
Great romantic little place to enjoy another's company.
Had a great time, great food and great friends! Our waiter, John Austin, couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful! Very knowledgeable about the menu and even speaks fluent French! Wonderful experience and would definitely go again!
The food and service were phenomenal! We ordered the mussels in saffron sauce with fries and the duck breast with bing cherries. Each dish was wonderful and careful time was taken to prepare it. Alex was a pleasant server and reason enough to go again. We will see you on many Fridays to come for your fresh flown-in oysters!
